My story

My story in artistic pattern design began when I realised the importance of greater visual accessibility for all. My early background is in design (architecture) and latterly as a Qualified Teacher of Vision Impairment (QTVI) in the UK.

My designs are based on contrasting colours and shapes, so that even those with low vision can easily identify the beauty of a pattern. I strive to make my patterns as visually appealing as possible, while still keeping them accessible. Through my work, I hope to make the world a more inclusive place for all.
